Pick-up Do’s & Dont’s

Q

Don’t block containers by machinery, vehicles, scrap or other obstacles.

Don’t overload pans so they cannot be transported safely.

Don’t call in pans for pick-up that are not a full load.

Don’t use incorrect pan terminology when calling in a pick-up.

R

Do make sure containers are accessible or have a cleared pick-up path.

Do load pans within capacity. Scrap may stick straight up, but not over the sides.

Do fill pans at least half way, anything less is considered a “wasted trip”.

Do refer to your full pan by its proper name when calling in a pick-up.
